Alternatively, you can drop computer equipment into us for repair. All computers and laptops repaired in our workshop are completely scanned for viruses and spyware. If you’ve just bought a new computer/laptop and you wish to have your data and applications migrated from your old computer to your new, then just drop both machines into us and we can look after this for you, and we can install the relevant software onto your new computer to protect it from viruses and spyware.

If you wish to upgrade your existing computer by fitting more memory, a bigger hard disk drive, a faster video card or whatever, then we can look after this for you also. We can provide replacement or upgrade components from the manufacturer of your equipment, or recommended parts suitable for your equipment.

Is backup a problem? If you’ve got valuable data on your equipment that you need to back up, then we can provide you with a backup on optical (DVD or CD) or magnetic (tape) media.

Hard Drive Wipe

Don’t let your important data fall into the wrong hands. Many users make the mistake of just deleting important files. While others shred their files, but only after several ghost copies have been created.

Keep in mind that deleting just the sensitive files may not protect you fully. Unidentified copies of those files could exist in “unused” parts of your hard drive or in your swap file, among other possible locations. It’s a good idea to wipe these areas of your drive as well or go the surefire route and wipe your entire hard drive.
